Memorial Day Service

So as the Chaplain of my local American Legion Post, I am in charge of giving the Memorial Day Service prayers. This is just as hard as it is easy. How do you put everything Memorial Day stands for in a prayer? How do you take all those feelings and make a simple sentence out of them? Hmm, looks like I've got some work to do...

So I'm reading a book called 60 Second Christian by Gary Collins. Despite only taking 60 seconds to read each chapter, there are alot of truths about Christiandom in it. Some truths that we as Christians have even overlooked, but are all too obvious to the non-believer, and new believer. I recommend it to EVERYONE!

Hmmm

So Im sitting in my room, once again, and I can't stop thinking about how good the Lord is, and how little we are doing to praise Him and to change the world for the better.  Human trafficking, sex trade, slavery, rape, child pornography....while what?? We all go about our days like nothing is happening, like nobody is dying inside everyday. Like the young people aren't getting hurt.
